Post your FFF profiles
#1
Hi,

how about we post some of our profiles for others to try.
I go first, heres my profile for the Tarantula for some PLA filaments.
Works really well for me. Included are two filament types:

eSun PLA and Janbex PLA (seems to be some german brand, idk)

Hi Chris,

just ordered my Tornado 3 days ago.
I'm not yet sure which parameters you would be looking for.
But would it be feasible to have them in a table due to the various filament types and vendors?
Would it even be possible to maintain such table in a forum?

The idea being it would be easier to review than to read the, "hopefully" massive replies in individual threads.
Just food for thought..

Happy new year,
Andrew

New Tornado owner here.  I've got a few FFF profiles I'm using currently.  Mostly for PLA so far but I'm experimenting with PETG as of yesterday also.  I'll gather up the good FFFs to ensure I don't post any developing profiles that may make a mess.

Edit: Here are a few.  For PETG, layer 1 adhesion is tricky.  The G-Code tab has a Z offset setting that must be tweaked.  It seems there is a fine line between getting a plastic booger on the nozzle and no adhesion.  It doesn't like the same kind of squish that works with PLA.  Still working on this.

In short, I'm printing on the stock bed with no additives.  Looking to try a glue stick for the PETG layer 1 adhesion.
