[Guides] Writers needed
#1
Hi guys!

Together we can create the best resource for all infos about our beloved TEVO printers.
But for that to come true, we need to work together. We especially need people to write guides.
If you want to contribute just find a topic which hasn't been covered yet and open your own thread
in the appropiate forum.
To find some suggestions on what needs to be written, check out the Guides section.
Other stuff is also highly appreciated. If you think something else needs to be covered, just go for it.

When you've written a guide or tutorial, I will link it to the respective area.

Thank you for helping. Together we can create something great! Smile

Also, soon I will release an interactive online tool for configuring and installing marlin to our printer. stay tuned!

Where is the guide for leveling the bed?

I purchased and received it today.  I came to this site and found no information and videos on my model.  Why is that and when will it come?

I also just purchased the Tornado and during assembly noticed that the manual skips several key parts of the assembly.
So, I decided to come here only to find out that nothing is documented on the printer.  Frown
Any idea if/when documentation will become available??

How about a guide about troubleshooting and diagnosing issues directly pointed towards Tornados? I've been tinkering with it for like 6 month from now and I've got some experience based on other printers troubleshooting (Simplify 3D has an awesome list HERE)

Issues I've fixed are:
-Clogged nozzles
-Bad bed leveling
-Z wobbles
-Extruder dissasembly, maintenance and reassembly

I'll be happy to cooperate!

Regards!
If you don't like tinkering, you won't like 3D Printing

Hi Chris, do you work for Tevo or are you another user. I just got the Tevo Tornado for Christmas and worked my way through the install and am now in the process of printing the spool holder that comes on the SD card with the Tevo Tornado. I would love to assist in getting some real documentation put together for a newbie 3D printer. I have never owned a 3D printer and am totally ignorant of how to do things much less what the right way to do things should be. There are plenty of unboxing videos out there but they all either fast forward through the parts of most interest to a new comer or they don't cover them at all. Specifically I was looking for a wiring video but could not find anything. Then bed leveling is also very poorly covered. I have the glass surface (I guess that is new to the Tornado as most videos show the colored non-glass surface). I had 2 failed prints of the spool because they would get so far and then would no longer stay in place on the bed. Based on a tip I came across, I sprayed aqua-net hairspray on the bed and that seems to be working great. My 3rd attempt at printing the spool holder is now 2 hours in and approx. 10 millimeters tall (assuming that is the increment that is displayed on the controller screen) and all seems to be doing great so far. There seems to be many hidden bits of information spread all over the place and a ton more pieces of info I am not sure where to find. So if you want to collaborate on some documentation, count me in. Can we get someone from the company engaged so we can at least validate our observations/instructions? That would be awesome.
